Liven Up Your Home Office With Plants Today!

Never before have so many people had to work from home. Suddenly dining room tables are used as desks, couches have transformed into office chairs, and lunch breaks consist of trips to your own kitchen. Beds have become breakrooms and, in a fun quarantine plot twist, plants have become our coworkers. I personally recommend getting some plants to give your home office a little more life. I also recommend naming them and talking to them — I’m not kidding. A study done by the Royal Horticultural Society showed that plants grow faster when you talk to them! It may sound crazy, but who doesn’t miss that office chit chat? On a more serious note, there are actual health benefits to having plants in your home office.

They make the air cleaner (which in turn keeps you healthier), can help with stress reduction, and can even aid in boosting levels of concentration. Now that you are (obviously) convinced that you would benefit from having plants in your home, where do you start? What kind of plants do you want? Hanging plants? Potted plants? Air plants? There are so many choices!

Never fear, I have put together a handy dandy list of some plants that thrive indoors and included links to make ordering them easy (and quarantine friendly!). Below are my picks for five easy plants to help you start your at-home office squad!
